Israeli army reports rescue of a hostage from the Gaza Strip

He had worked as a security guard in a kibbutz, then Hamas kidnapped him: After more than ten months, the Israeli military was able to rescue a Bedouin alive from the Gaza Strip.

In just over five weeks it will be the anniversary of the attack Hamas-Terrorists Israel for the first time. Dozens of kidnapped hostages are still in the hands of the Islamists. Now, however, the Israeli army has once again been able to free a hostage from Hamas. Qaid Farhan Alkadi, a 52-year-old Bedouin, was rescued during a difficult operation in southern Gaza, the military said.

He was in stable condition and healthy, the military reported. The Bedouin will now be taken to a hospital for further examinations. Alkadi had worked as a security guard in one of the kibbutzim that was attacked.
In total, Palestinian terrorists abducted 253 people from Israel to the coastal area on October 7th last year. Some of them were released through a prisoner exchange, and a few hostages were freed by the Israeli army. There are currently a little more than 100 hostages held by Hamas, and the Israeli authorities assume that a third of them are no longer alive.
